Jasmin Roden, LMSW, CAADC (She/Her)
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMS W) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I earned my bachelor's degree at Northern Michigan University and my master's degree through the University of New England. I have 10 plus years working with families, individuals, and children with both mental health and substance abuse issues and concerns.
I have extensive experience and training working with individuals who have complex and developmental trauma. I am trained in EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also have experience working with those with depression, anxiety, Bi-Polar, PTSD, and personality disorder. I am currently accepting adolescent and adult clients.
When I meet with you, I want to create a safe and trusting relationship first and foremost. Therapy will be done at a pace that is comfortable to you and I will work with you on establishing treatment goals that you are comfortable with. I am a strong believe that people have their own power to heal and connect to their authentic selves.
I am originally from Traverse City, MI and I have lived in the Upper Peninsula since 2010. I love to travel, hike, run and read. I believe that being outside is one of the most healing experiences for myself.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
